"Delfina House" is located in Grosotto, in the province of Sondrio, in the upper Valtellina.
The property, the result of recent building restoration, offers comfortable and fully renovated spaces for you and your family.
Without architectural barriers, it is arranged over 3 levels with an elevator to the floors and offers guests private parking with an electric vehicle charging station.
The house offers two bedrooms with a private bathroom and a balcony overlooking the mountain, TV, free WiFi, and common areas consisting of a living room with a terrace, a equipped kitchen, a laundry room, and a bicycle shelter and maintenance box.

The holiday home is strategically located, a stone′s throw from the Bormio ski resort and the Tirano station, from which the famous Bernina Red Train departs, as well as 30 km from the Livigno slopes, and is the ideal place for those who love cycling and skiing. Additionally, it has been designed to meet high energy-saving and low environmental impact standards.

A holiday home should offer not only a cozy place to rest, but also common areas where one can interact and create memories. On the upper floor, we find the spacious living room with dining area. Here guests can enjoy comfortable environments to relax with loved ones, a comfortable 4-seater sofa, and a terrace overlooking the mountain. The kitchen is fully equipped to allow guests to prepare meals in total comfort. It has a refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, ice machine, dishes and pantry. The laundry room, located on the ground floor, includes a washing machine and dryer for free use. All areas are tastefully furnished and enjoy natural brightness, to welcome you and make you feel immediately at home.

From Delfina House, you will experience a sustainable stay in an energy-efficient holiday home, which not only benefits the environment, but also its inhabitants.
The property uses solar panels for hot water production, ensures thermal and acoustic insulation (thanks to the use of triple-glazed wooden and PVC windows), a rainwater collection system, home automation systems and state-of-the-art access control systems. Thanks to these measures, not only is the use of natural resources reduced, but also energy costs.
All of this, set within the backdrop of the high Valtellina mountains, for a stay in perfect harmony with nature.

THE TERRITORY

In Grosotto and its surroundings, there are various sports activities and attractions to explore. The Grosotto pond offers fun for both young and old, from sports fishing to padel, and even football fields, beach volleyball courts, tennis, and bocce. For cycling enthusiasts, there are the Valtellina Path Mountain Bike trails and the Castles Path and Energy Cycle Route. For those who love walks, we recommend the Valtellina Path trekking, an easy 16 km route from Tirano to Grosio.

Grosotto is also a destination for artistic and naturalistic excursions. The Park of the Cave Engravings is just a few kilometers away and is an archaeological site where you can admire cave engravings dating back to the Neolithic and Iron Age while the Aprica Nature Reserve is the ideal place to observe local wildlife. And still, the San Faustino Castle, the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of Graces, the Historic Fountains of Grosotto, the Gaudì Castle of Grosio and much more!

Grosotto

The territory of Grosotto, dotted with terraced pastoral vineyards, the last in the Alta Valtellina, offers a variety of outdoor activities, from trekking on mountain trails to skiing in winter. In the cellars, where you can taste the renowned Valtellina Superiore DOCG, and in the town, you can admire historical monuments including: the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of Grace with its particularly valuable pipe organ; the ossuary of San Sebastian adjacent to the Church of San Sebastian dating back to 1721, which contains the remains of the victims of the plagues that struck the area between 1630 and 1636; the Historic Fountains of Grosotto, which not only served as water supply points, but were also meeting places for the community. Among the most visited, the Fontana-Lavatoio of Casa Stoppani, one of the most beautiful in all of Valtellina, a perfect example of traditional architecture, historically used by the villagers to wash clothes.

A short distance from Grosotto, in the heart of the Rhaetian Alps, Grosio offers visitors nature hikes, rich local traditions and monuments of great historical importance. In Grosio, it is possible to visit the Castle of San Faustino, also known as the Old Castle, which dominates the surrounding green valleys in the heart of the park of rock engravings. Of particular interest is also the Gaudi Castle, a unique and fascinating construction located in the village of the town, known for its style reminiscent of the works of the famous Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí.
Tirano
